Jazzfest Jam Day 1

A highlight of the TD Victoria Jazzfest is always the jam sessions.  They’re hosted by local musicians from Victoria, and give the city’s musicians the opportunity to meet, make music, and mingle with some of the world’s finest touring musicians.  It was at one of these years ago that I had the opportunity to play with Wynton Marsalis.  In fact he came back to my place after the jam was over to hang and keep playing some music.  This year I’m lucky enough to have been chosen to host the jam for three nights.
